Bison Bistro Burgers

A pinch of nostalgia, a hefty scoop of comfort- the good ole Bistro Burger

I know everyone is trying to stay healthy in the beginning of the year, so this burger is a great way to satisfy a craving with a leaner meat than beef

Ground Bison is really tasty, and increasingly available in stores

As always, I recommend free-range, organic, non-GMO- the best quality you can find. 

 

Burger Ingredients: 

Ground Bison  (1/3 lb per patty)

grated or finely diced Onion

2 cloves Garlic

Smoked Paprika

Salt & Pepper

 

Topping Recommendations: 

Sriracha Mayo

Dijon Mustard

Arugula

Feta Cheese

Red onion

Brioche Bun (if you are not Gluten Free)

 

Directions: 

Combine all burger ingredients, and form burger patties-  Keep in mind they will shrink when cooked so it is best to make raw patty a little larger than bun circumference. Grill or cook in preheated pan for 4-6 minutes per side or until your desired doneness. Top with your choice of toppings & Enjoy

Great served with baked sweet potato sticks or grilled endive!
